Behold PRiNK's "Pacific Yew Tree" pen, with magnetic Gun Metal top.
Each pen is hand-crafted by Dr. Strobel at his home in Boseman, Montana. These pens vary in color, each having a Gun Metal body and strong magnetic top.
The wood, besides being gorgeous and pleasing to the eye, is also resistant to decay and has enormous strength and durability.
The Pacific Yew is a source of Taxol, one of the world's most important anti-cancer drugs. Dr. Gary Strobel, an emeritus professor of plant sciences of Montana State University, has been credited with the discovery of Taxol as well as synthesis of the drug for new uses. The yew tree can be found in the Pacific Northwest, as far east as Montana and south into Northern California.
